If you loved The Archived, you will ADORE Vicious and A Darker Shade of Magic! I am so excited for you (and for everyone else) to read this!!!!!

I loved her book The Archived, because her writing style is so immersive. Plus I need more superhero books in my life. Great review!

And I have to urge you to pick up the books by Victoria Schwab – *especially* her adult novels, Vicious and this one. There’s a reason she’s a favorite author of mine (if my MOST favorite). Her YA books, The Near Witch and The Archived series, are highly engrossing and quality additions to the genre, too. Stop by here again if you ever have the chance to read them!

Have you read Vicious yet? If you liked that book, you will LOVE this one. If you LOVED that book (like I did) that’s even better! If you haven’t read Vicious it yet, what are you doing?? Hop to it! ADSoM is definitely darker than Vicious in many ways. There’s a lot of action, too. Both elements kind of build up as you read, making it a steady page-turner.

I cannot wait to hear your thoughts once you have the opportunity to read it!

Oh yes, from what I’ve read from A Darker Shade of Magic so far, it is indeed terrifying.
And ha ha, I’m glad to hear that there’s nothing wrong with the book in your eyes! Hopefully that’ll be the same for me. ;D
