I really want to read The Wrath and the Dawn. I’m really sad to see that you didn’t like Sisters of Blood and Spirit. I love Kady Cross’s Steampunk Chronicles, and was excited for this one. Hopefully you can post more often now!

Not violent at all! Tariq was a thorn in my side throughout the novel. I hope he disappears in the second book. Or is maimed enough not to be able to interfere with Shiva and Khalid’s relationship.

I think that you will do just fine with The Cost of All Things. The “magic” may not be quite what you expect. 😉

I just finished The Wrath and the Dawn, and OH MY HEART. Tariq can go die in a hole for all I care.

I can’t wait to read The Cost of All Things! I don’t read magical realism often since I always have a really hard time determining what’s real and what’s not (thanks, brain, for trying to always be so literal). But I have hope for this one 😀

I also realize that I sounded quite violent in my first paragraph. But Tariq was so boring! And he needs to get over himself. Like, a lot.
