I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Madeline Whittier is allergic to the outside world. So allergic, in fact, that she has never left the house in all of her seventeen years. But when Olly moves in next door, and wants to talk to Maddie, tiny holes start to appear in the protective bubble her mother has built around her. Olly writes his IM address on a piece of paper, shows it at her window, and suddenly, a door opens. But does Maddie dare to step outside her comfort zone? Everything, Everything is about the thrill and heartbreak that happens when we break out of our shell to do crazy, sometimes death-defying things for love.

This book is super cute, while touching on some serious topics. It’s a story of character growth, finding love, quite a twist thrown in there, and then all the warm and fuzzies.

I was actually really nervous to read this one because a lot of books about the main character being really ill just don’t work for me, but this one turned out to be one I really enjoyed.

I love the writing and the way Madeline’s story is told. The unique writing style made it fun for me. The character growth and romance tied together was realistic and the pacing was really well done for both parts.

I really like Madeline and Olly, individually and together. I also like Carla, Madeline’s nurse, a lot. The imagery is fantastic through out the entire story. It was really easy to feel like I was really there and be completely sucked into the story.

Part of the twist that happens is something I fleetingly thought of as a joke to myself, as in “wouldn’t it be crazy if _______ happened”. It completely was just a thought that I didn’t actually see coming, if that makes any sense what so ever. Also, with the way the twist was hidden, THAT part completely came as a surprise because it was covered up so well. I didn’t even think that everything that came to light was something that was a possibility.

The only reason I didn’t give this book a 5 star is because there was one thing in the twist that I think should have been covered more. I know it wasn’t the central part of the story, but I think it was just a HUGE thing that made the story that it really should have been given more attention. Now I can’t say what it is because HUGE spoiler, but after reading it I’m sure you would understand.

Overall, I really think everyone should give this one a try. It’s a super fast read and it just left me smiling.

Giving this one 4 super feels emojis!!

Ahhhh I loved this book! It was cute, fast, and the plot twist was definitely something I didn’t expect. I loved how Nicola included their email and IM conversations. It was great to literally read their conversations and not have it described to me. The IMs were probably super fun to write. Great review and glad you enjoyed the book!
