If you were to live and be defined by one specific season what do you think it would be?
Are you a little controlling and like things your way?
Then you would fit perfect in the Spring kingdom.
Do you like natural minerals and cold weather?Â
Then you would want to live in the Winter Kingdom.
Do you like to kick back and just have a good time?Â
Then you should reside in the Summer Kingdom!
Do you tend to be underestimated, but you are adaptable and know how to survive?
Then you belong in the Autumn Kingdom!
Do you want to know more about each of these kingdoms?
Well, we happen to have Sara Raasch here today to tell us more.
But before we get into our interview with Sara, let me share some about the last book in her Snow Like Ashes trilogy!

B: Which has been your favorite book to write in this trilogy?
S:Â Definitely FROST LIKE NIGHT! I loved seeing everything come together and getting to really delve into the characters in a deeper way, since theyâd all had at least two books to grow.
B:Â Which of your characters do you see yourself in the most?
S:Â Meira! Sheâs a bit of a wish fulfillment for meâsheâs who I wanted to be as a teen, someone loyal and strong and stubborn, who fights for what she wants and isnât afraid to get out there and make things happen!
B:Â What song best describes you writing habits?
S:Â I always get super sappy when I hear âGo the Distanceâ from Hercules, heh.
B: What has been the best moment of your career as a published author?
S: Meeting readers who love my books/characters as much as I do! Itâs still the most surreal thing, and by far the best part ð
B: What is your favorite carnival ride?
S: Oh god, I canât do rides AT ALLâsuper motion sick! Iâll gladly be the person who sits on a bench and holds everyoneâs bags while they ride, though.
B: What is your absolute favorite carnival food?
S: I have about a million food allergies, but if I could actually eat anything from a carnival and not get sick, Iâd devour the entire funnel cake booth.
B: What is your favorite season?
S: Autumn, for sureâperfect temperature, and the holidays are the best!
B: If someone dared you to write “book nerd” on your forehead while wearing your favorite pajamas – and then share a photo of it – would you do it? (If so, we double dog dare you to do it and share it with us right here!) ð
S: I feel like this should be a Snapchat filter, so:
Open INTL as long TBD ships to you!

This is amazing! Thank you for the post and the giceaway!
I would always say summer because of my birthday but now it’s fall. All three of my kids were born in October. They know when they start seeing pumpkins that their birthdays are near.
I could see myself easily beloning to the Autumn Kingdom. I could also see myself in the Summer Kingdom too. I don’t think I could handle Spring or Winter, haha. I can’t wait for Frost Like Night!!!
I would definitely live in the autumn kingdom as Autumn is my favourite season.
I found the blogging community so many years ago because of this festival oh the memories! sara is awesome i can’t wait to read her books. summer will always be my favorite i love the heat.
I’d say Summer because I grew up in a tropical country and I feel most comfortable during the Summer months. And I love beach trips and cosy outfits and cold drinks!
Either Winter or Autumn. Totally stubborn like Winter, and I simply ADORE cold weather. But I tend to be underestimated like Autumn, and I adapt to what’s around me… so it’s a toss up.
OMG I’m dying to read this book! This trilogy is one of my favorites, can’t wait to know what happens! Though I’m a little scared about the ending…
I think I’d be Autumn, also I love that season!
Great interview! BTW I love the song Go the Distance ð
Definitely summer! I was born in summer and would give all my money to live somewhere where there’s 365 days of sun and heat. ð
Really excited for Frost Like Night to come out, loved first two books and can’t wait to read how it all wraps up.
I’m definitely Fall!! I love the colors, smells, Halloween, Pumpkin Pie!!
I’m a little bit of Spring I must admit but mostly Summer! This book sound fantastic and the cover is gorgeous! I need to read the others in the series ASAP! Thanks for the awesome interview and the giveaway!
I definitely reside in summer kingdom! This Snow Like Ashes series sounds very compelling and I’m a huge fan of fantasy action series so I think this is a must for me! It’d be great to win this one!!
I’d love to experience snow/winter, we only have 2 seasons here in the Philipppines: the WET and DRY season! ð
I’m not even kidding.
Gorgeous post Crystal ð Love this. <3 Thank you so much for sharing. Not books for me, but they are SO PRETTY ð Ahhh. And heh, I would want it to be summer all the time ð So little summer in my Norway town. Sniffs.
I love this series!!!
