I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

22 minutes separate Julia Vann’s before and after.

Before: Julia had a twin brother, a boyfriend, and a best friend.

After: She has a new identity, a new hometown, and memories of those twenty-two minutes that refuse to come into focus. At least, that’s what she tells the police.

Now that she’s Lucy Black, she's able to begin again. She's even getting used to the empty bedroom where her brother should be. And her fresh start has attracted the attention of one of the hottest guys in school, a boy who will do anything to protect her. But when someone much more dangerous also takes notice, Lucy's forced to confront the dark secrets she thought were safely left behind.

One thing is clear: The damage done can never be erased. It’s only just beginning. . . .

HOLY SMOKES THIS BOOK WAS SO TWISTY AND IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT DOWN!!

About a week ago I picked up DAMAGE DONE for a little reading before I went to bed, little did I know that I wouldn’t be able to put it down until I actually finished the book.

Seriously. I could not put it down.

I tried.

Several times.

I told myself at 100 pages I was going to bed, but I just could not stop. This book was so unbelievably thrilling and insane it was impossible to stop. I had theories right from Chapter 2 and I kept building on to it or changing my mind about it. Some of my theory ended up being true but it turned out to be a heck of a lot more twisted than I initially thought it would be.

Lucy was really easy to like and reading the story through her eyes definitely made this book amazing. As I learned more and more about her and what happened and the truth slipped out slowly, but surely, my mind was blown.

2Lucy’s friendship with Alane and Michael is really one of the things that I think pulled out the entire truth eventually from Lucy about the whole scenario that changed her life. Alane was one of the best friends a girl could ask for, and Michael is a really nice guy. I really liked the ending that was laid out for those two.

It’s really hard to touch on the main plot of this book because I feel like most anything I say will be spoilery or hint too much to what happens.

Just know its twisted, dark, thrilling, screws with your mind COMPLETELY, and you literally can not put it down once you start it. Also your face may hurt because I was basically doing this the whole time…..
